Prolonged exposure to UV rays from the sun, acid rain, a mixture of slush and road salt or salty sea air and other environmental influences can severely damage unsealed paintwork, chrome, stainless steel, brass and aluminum and thus greatly reduce the value of a vehicle. Treated with Klassik-Glass paint sealant, these surfaces are not only protected for a long time and look great, they are also given a brilliance and smoothness that is quite literally something to behold.
Slightly tarnished metal surfaces can be polished and protected directly. Pre-polish/clean tarnished or heavily weathered metals first with a commercially available metal polish and, if necessary, the protective film can be easily refreshed by re-applying Klassik-Glass. Petzoldt's Klassik-Glass® can be applied to an existing Liquid Glass or Legend sealing layer. On rims, Klassik-Glass protects against the build-up of brake wear.
